Overview
Search for brumbies, deer, eagles and wombats, experience Snowy Wilderness and learn Leatherwork, The Stockman's Way.
Long enough to find your rhythm in the saddle, and to spend time at camp on one of the skills that shaped life in these mountains.
Ask About DatesThe Rhythm
After meeting your horse, you ride into camp through mountain bush, snow gums and creek crossings.
A full day in the saddle searching for brumbies, deer, eagles and wombats, in country that begins to feel familiar rather than foreign.
Time at camp is given over to leatherwork, one of the traditional skills relied upon daily by those who worked this country.
The trek returns home, and you leave with a genuine sense of what a longer High Country trek involves.
